Requirements for the Teacher's Personality in the Pedagogical Legacy of Abu Ali Ibn Sina and Their Contemporary Significance
Abstract
Throughout the history of pedagogical thought, the figure of the teacher has consistently held a central place. Although approaches to the teacher have varied across different cultures and civilizations, their fundamental essence remains the same: the teacher is not merely a transmitter of knowledge but a spiritual guide who shapes the student into a well-rounded individual. Examining this subject through the legacy of the great Eastern Renaissance scholar Abu Ali ibn Sina (980–1037) is of particular scholarly significance.
