Abstract

This thesis examines the priority of human dignity as a core legal and social mechanism for preventing human trafficking and forced labour. It outlines the root causes of these crimes and their damage to the individual, society and the state. Drawing on the instruments of the United Nations and the International Labour Organization (ILO), it compares Uzbekistan's recent reforms with international practice. The thesis concludes with proposals on raising legal literacy, promoting safe labour migration, using digital tools for prevention and strengthening cooperation between state bodies and civil society.
