Abstract

The implementation of the International Baccalaureate (IB) program in Uzbek schools requires a reconsideration of English language teaching methods. In particular, it is crucial to adapt the core language components—vocabulary, grammar, listening, speaking, reading, and writing—to the cultural context of the learners. This article analyzes the ways of integrating English language components into IB programs while taking into account national characteristics and the tasks of developing intercultural competence.
