Abstract

This article analyzes the importance and effectiveness of modern, innovative methods in developing reading literacy of students at the primary education stage. The impact of the introduction of interactive, information and communication technologies into the learning process, a creative approach, project-based learning, the use of digital games and multimedia tools on students' motivation for learning, thinking skills and independent learning skills is scientifically substantiated. The study reveals that innovative methods have a positive impact on the quality of education and the level of literacy.
